If there ever was an easier £3.99 to decide on spending, I'm not sure what it would be (well, it would probably be in kebab shop after the bars have closed). Even if the proceeds from this excellent compilation that Audio Antihero has put together were not going to the very noble cause of supporting the essential charity work of Rape Crisis England & Wales and Rape Crisis Scotland (which it is), it would still be worth every penny, just for the music alone. It's 31 tracks long and the range of music is nicely varied. There are some total gems on here.
But buying this compilation is not about the excellent tunes that you'll be getting (which you will). It's really about the intent of the project.
And if you are worried about whether you're about to put on an album of 31 songs that deal with the heavy topic of rape and sexual assault, don't worry.
So, get over to Audio Antihero's Bandcamp page and buy this compilation. Do it mostly for the charity, but also keep in mind that you'll not just be supporting a noble cause (which is reason enough), but you'll also be getting 31 sweet tracks to put in your headphones.
