Booyakasha! Report - April 2014

Up until late last month, whenever I received a “Booyakasha!” email from Bandcamp, after the initial “yeaah buddy” feeling wore off, I was deleting them (for those of you not in the know, when somebody buys something that they discovered through your Bandcamp collection / Bandcamp purchases, you're sent an email letting you know about it).

I guess I was deleting these emails out of the interest of having a ‘less of a mess’ inbox. But this month I didn't get around to deleting any of them, and as I was going through my email thinking about cleaning it up a bit, I realized that I had received 24 “Booyakashas!” this month. So I said to myself, “hey Jeremy, this seems like a good way of suggesting a bunch of nice albums for people to check out while also laying the ground work for a new re-occurring monthly feature that sort of writes itself”. And then I agreed with what I was saying and now here we are.

So… below are all of the albums that had my inbox receiving a pretty steady stream of virtual high fives and fist bumps this month (as you can see, some albums caused more booyakashas than others).

Four Booyakashas! From…

Three Booyakashas! Each From…

Two Booyakashas! Each From…

One Booyakasha! Each From…

If you'd like to help keep the Booyakasha's coming, you can peruse my Bandcamp collection AND even more importantly,  get your own Bandcamp fan account (which is as simple as just buying some music) and then make sure to follow HI54LOFI's fan account, as that way you'll get notified of new purchases via email and in your Music Feed.

Of course, if you don't like the music I like, then don't follow me… but do still get a Bandcamp Fan account going and then just find people with ear drums that beat closer to your own and follow them.

And remember: every time a Booyakasha rings, an artist gets some bling.
