by French FIlms About Trains
It is such an honour to be a part of releasing French Films About Trains first EP. Besides the loveliness of the music within it, Aubben and Grahame have been internet acquantinces since back in those early Myspace days and I have always admired the songs in their heads and hearts. Aubben has been such a huge part of the spirit of HI54LOFI RECORDS since the very beginning, although a lot of that has been a bit hidden in the background, through long email back and forths and Facebook interactions. Of course, you will have heard her voice pop up on more than a few tracks on this site (and even more tracks spread out around the ether), but it is great to finally have a special spot on the site for her and Grahame's tunes.
Here is what they have to say about 'Boxing Day':
This EP was originally only available digitally… but things have changed. There is now a physical version available. And not just any physical form, but a cool and creatively hand-made physical form.
So drop whatever you are doing (unless what you are doing is holding a baby) and swing by their Bandcamp page now. You can either pick up the digital only version for the cost of whatever cost you want (even if that is free) OR you can get the lovely handmade physical version for the price of a fiver (an American fiver… so these days, that is almost free as well :)
