Favourite Albums of 2009 | 8tracks

OK. I’ve finally settled on my list of favourite albums from 2009, and i think the year is close enough to the end that it is safe for me to put it up now. Besides, if I don’t put it up now, I’m just going to keep tweaking it and I don’t want to tweak it anymore.

I always enjoy end of year lists. I like to see where the stuff I liked lined up with the more commercial lists and also with the more 'high brow' lists. But this is the first time I’ve actually sat down and put together my own list. It was a bit daunting at first, until I came to the conclusion that I would not do a ‘best of’ list, but rather just a list of my favourite albums (also, the fact that no one will really care also eased the daunting).

Below, arranged alphabetically, are my favourites.
