Four From My Bandcamp Collection - 04

It's the fourth instalment of 'Four From My Bandcamp Collection'. I guess that's not really much of a milestone, although I have started and not continued many a 'supposed to be re-occurring feature', so this should at least be considered a small achievement of minor note. Or not. Either way, here's another 4 quality albums that you should highly consider adding to your own collection.

It's a shame that most people who say they like “country music” are not referring to the kind of “country music” that this guy makes. Favorite track: A Losing Song.

This album is waking up before your alarm goes off. It is a 40 minute bus ride to a job you hate. It is wearing your headphones on lunchbreak and ignoring your co-workers. It is staring at a computer screen too long. It is a 40 minute bus ride back home to the woman you love, having one glass of wine more than you planned and staying up later than you should. And then doing it all over again the next day. Favorite track: Home.

If you've worn out the album versions of these tracks, these stripped down demos are a nice way to overplay them all over again. Favorite track: Last to Swim.

There is rumour going around that everyone who sent this Vday compilation to a person they fancy totally got lucky. That sounds like a gamble worth £2, no? Favorite track: Lint Vaccine - Those Freckles Compliment Each Other.

There you have it… another 4 albums that are all very worthy of receiving some love from your headphones. And yes, one of those albums is a 'HI54LOFI RECORDS' compilation, but I only did that because Valentines Day is literally just around the corner and you'd be silly not to get it for that special someone you're all out of ideas for special things to get them. Hope you've had a good week, and remember to come back next Saturday for another 4.
