Were airports really this zen back in the 70s? Every time I fly it feels more like Alabama's “I'm In A Hurry (And Don't Know Why)” is stuck on loop. The closest I've been to feeling like this album is when I had to arrive at Stansted at an unspeakable time 6 hours before my flight, and other passengers were scattered around the terminal like dead bodies, trying to sleep in every nook and cranny that partially resembled a "best available sleeping option, given the fact that all the chairs are already taken".
#MWE is a twitter thing (stands for Music Writing Exercise) where those participating listen to an album they have never listened to before every day in the month of February and then write a tweet about it. I've been enjoying the process and decided to post my #MWE tweets on the blog as well (where I can slightly expand on the thoughts that 140 characters cut a bit short). I've also started an ongoing Spotify playlist for all the albums I end up listening to.
