OK. I know it has been awhile since I last posted. And looking back on the last few weeks, even when I have posted, it has been a bit sporadic. Not to mention that there hasn't been a new episode of Mix Tape Radio On Folk Radio UK for going on two iterations.
I've been a bit swamped with work and projects and feeling a bit burnt out. And whenever I finally find a chance to sit down at the computer to attempt to do some HI54LOFI'n, I would get hit by a wave of “Why bother? No one will really notice if you don't.”. Which was quickly followed by a “Why don't you just watch and episode of Daily Show / Survivor/ Walking Dead / Parks & Rec / Game Of Thrones / ETC and then work on some stuff? You've earned a little lazy you time.”. But one episode would lead to another episode and then another. Which would lead to there being no more episodes of things I want to watch so I'd just find anything else to watch. Which would eventually lead to sleeping. And that would unfortunately always lead to waking up and having to go back to work.
So this post is just to let anyone who may mildly care that all is still well. It's just a minor case of blogger burn out, and it feels like the slowly improving English weather is beginning to mend it.
Also, I've been thoroughly enjoying the new Phosphorescent album ‘Muchacho’ and I think you should go do the same. I can't say that it's greatness is fully responsible for me being a bit slack… but it has provided the soundtrack for a lot of it.
